About the role
As an IT Infrastructure Field Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing strong technical support in troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues without violating warranty or security compliance requirements. Your role will involve installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals. Additionally, you should have a basic understanding of enterprise LAN and WAN setups. Key Responsibilities: - Perform smart hand activities at various sites as per instruction - Lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs - Provide desk side support and PC break/fix, including basic administration of Windows O/S and Mac/Linux OS - Troubleshoot networking issues related to TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP - Support peripheral and networking hardware troubleshooting, such as monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, routers, switches, etc. - Analyze repeat calls to develop preventive actions and manage problems effectively Qualifications Required: - Associate's Degree in Electronics and CompTIA A+ Certification preferred - Experience with ticketing tools like ServiceNow - Good written and oral communication skills - Ability to work with deadlines and proactive ownership - Knowledge of mobile device management tools like Mobile Iron & Intune - Understanding of Apple devices and apps troubleshooting - Familiarity with VDI, SCCM, LanDesk, Altris, Skype for Business, and OneDrive Non-Technical Skills: - Strong customer management skills - Bilingual proficiency - Effective interaction with customers at various levels - Self-driven, result-oriented, and passionate about your work Please note that this job description focuses on your responsibilities, qualifications, and additional details related to the company's expectations.
