Technical Lead - BI (Qlik)

Technical Lead BI (Qlik & QDI) Experience: 5- 8 years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead with strong expertise in Qlik Sense and exposure to Qlik Data Integration (QDI). The candidate will be responsible for leading BI initiatives, managing delivery teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and driving end-to-end implementation of analytics and data integration solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise BI solutions using Qlik Sense and QlikView. Define architecture, development standards, and best practices for BI solutions. Review technical designs, code, and data models to ensure quality and scalability. Drive performance optimization, security implementation, and governance initiatives. Provide technical direction for QDI implementations, including CDC and real-time data integration. Qlik & QDI Development Develop and maintain Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports. Design and optimize data models, ETL processes, and data transformations. Work with Qlik Replicate and Qlik. Compose data ingestion, replication, and warehouse automation. Integrate data from multiple source systems into data warehouses and analytics platforms. Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide resolution strategies. Team Management Lead and manage a team of BI developers, analysts, and data engineers. Allocate work, monitor progress, and ensure timely project delivery. Conduct performance reviews, mentoring, coaching, and skill development initiatives. Establish development standards and promote best practices across the team. Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability building of team members. Foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment. Client & Stakeholder Management Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and business stakeholders. Conduct requirement gathering workshops and solution design discussions. Translate business requirements into scalable BI and data integration solutions. Manage client expectations, project risks, dependencies, and escalations. Present solution demonstrations, project updates, and executive-level reports. Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for analytics enhancements and business growth. Project & Delivery Management Prepare project estimates, resource plans, and delivery schedules. Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and SLAs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, Architecture, QA, and Business teams. Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and project governance activities. Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and solution quality. Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense/ QlikView development and administration. Exposure to Qlik Data Integration (QDI), including Qlik Replicate and Qlik Compose. Strong SQL and database development skills. Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Teradata, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, ETL, and CDC concepts. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Qlik certifications preferred. Experience in enterprise-scale BI transformation programs. Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, or modern cloud analytics ecosystems.
