Senior QA Engineer

Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and understanding end-to-end business requirements, system/application design, and integration - Contributing to test plan and strategy creation, developing test scenarios and cases, and reporting defects - Working on API testing and database queries - Collaborating with automation engineers to create a unified approach to automation - Developing and maintaining automation test scripts using commercial and open-source tools - Researching and recommending new automation technologies - Providing guidance on test design and implementation techniques - Automating testing of defects and maintaining Regression Test suite - Preparing effort estimates, status reports, and SOP for test execution - Practicing DevOps with an automation-first mindset Qualifications required for this position include: - Any Professional degree in computer science - Ability to understand business processes quickly - Knowledge of various types of testing including Accessibility, Acceptance, Black box, End-to-end, Functional and non-functional, Feature, Interactive, Integration, Load, Performance, Regression, Sanity, and Security testing - Technical knowledge in SQL, C#.NET, Webservices, REST API, AWS Cloud - Familiarity with testing tools such as TestRail, XUnit, Selenium, Sonar Cloud, Appium, Postman, SoapUI, Rest-assured - Skills in Test Automation, effective communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and Agile methodologies - Experience of 4-8 years in Software testing and quality assurance, automation testing, Object Repositories, Agile Methodologies, and defect management tools Additionally, desirable experience includes knowledge of maritime, Finance, Supply chain, logistics, Performance Testing, Security Testing, and Test-Driven Delivery.
