About the role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at ISS STOXX, you will be part of a purpose-driven team that values mastery and autonomy. Your mission will be to empower shareholders globally by developing cutting-edge voting and analytical platforms. You will work alongside an elite engineering team to build scalable, high-performance systems that have a significant global impact. Key Responsibilities: - Build highly scalable applications capable of processing large datasets in near real time. - Develop modern, responsive user interfaces using frameworks like ReactJS and VueJS. - Play an active role in an agile team working on a large-scale web application in the financial sector. - Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle Requirements analysis, System and UI design, Delivery estimation, Development and testing, Release management, and production support. Qualifications: - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java in a production environment. - 1+ years of experience building rich user interfaces using React, Angular, VueJS, or JSF. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. - Experience building highly scalable, concurrent systems. - Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Good to have: - Experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases. - Familiarity with development tools like Eclipse, SVN, and Maven. - Hands-on experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Tomcat. - Solid understanding of design patterns and reusable libraries. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and SASS/SCSS. - Cloud Platforms: Experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure. - DevOps & CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, or GitHub. - Testing: Knowledge of JUnit, Selenium, or related frameworks. - API Development: Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs. - Security: Understanding of OWASP best practices and secure coding techniques. - Performance Optimization: Experience with JVM tuning.
