About the role
Role Summary The ASA NOC Engineer is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and troubleshooting Windows and infrastructure environments in a high-availability operations setup. The role focuses on incident handling, service restoration, patching, escalation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure stable operations and SLA compliance. Key Responsibilities - Monitor Windows servers, virtual machines, and supporting infrastructure for availability, performance, and alerts. - Troubleshoot OS-level issues such as server hangs, slowness, application crashes, connectivity issues, and performance degradation. - Support Windows Server environments including Server 2003/2008/2012/2016/2019. - Handle VMware and Hyper-V troubleshooting, VM provisioning, snapshot management, hardware upgrades, and VM hardening. - Manage Azure Cloud and Azure AD tasks such as resource groups, tags/locks, user access, permissions, and security controls. - Work on Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SSL certificates, and related infrastructure services. - Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in ServiceNow. - Perform OS upgrades, patching, vulnerability remediation, and lifecycle management activities. - Gather logs, analyze dumps, and coordinate with OEM/vendor teams for root-cause resolution. - Maintain documentation, SOPs, and configuration records. - Coordinate with L1, L2, L3 teams and communicate clearly with end users on issue status and resolution. - Support change management, maintenance windows, and operational handovers. - Follow SLA, escalation, and incident management processes strictly. Required Skills - Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server administration. - Good knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V. - Working understanding of Azure Cloud and Azure AD. - Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and SSL certificate management. - Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. - Exposure to patching, hardening, VAPT, and vulnerability remediation. - Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. - Good communication and coordination skills. - Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle pressure in operations setting.
