Job Description - Infrastructure Automation Lead Job Title: Infrastructure Automation Lead Experience: 710 Years Location: Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate Joiners Preferred About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Automation Lead to drive automation initiatives across cloud and on-premises infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in infrastructure automation, scripting, workflow orchestration, and cloud technologies, with a focus on improving operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability. The role involves designing and implementing automation solutions for infrastructure lifecycle management, integrating with enterprise platforms, and leading automation best practices across infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure automation frameworks and workflow orchestration solutions. Automate repetitive operational tasks across cloud and on-premises environments to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Develop reusable automation tools for: Infrastructure provisioning Configuration management Patch management Compliance enforcement Incident remediation Build and manage workflow-based automation with conditional logic, exception handling, and orchestration capabilities. Integrate automation platforms with ITSM, monitoring, CI/CD, cloud, and infrastructure management tools. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to streamline processes and improve service reliability. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and automation standards. Ensure automation solutions are secure, scalable, maintainable, and properly documented. Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and automation issues and provide root cause analysis. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, reducing operational overhead through intelligent automation. Required Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills Strong proficiency in Python and at least one additional scripting language such as: PowerShell Bash Shell Scripting Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools: Ansible Terraform Puppet Chef Or similar automation platforms Experience working with cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and implementation. Experience integrating automation solutions using REST APIs . Proficiency with: Git/GitHub/GitLab CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices Experience with workflow orchestration and automation frameworks. Infrastructure & Operations Strong understanding of: Windows and Linux Administration Infrastructure Management Monitoring and Alerting Systems Network and Security Fundamentals Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience with event-driven automation and remediation workflows. Exposure to self-healing infrastructure concepts. Knowledge of AIOps platforms and intelligent operations automation. Experience with enterprise ITSM tools such as ServiceNow. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, and compliance requirements. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Cloud, Automation, DevOps, or Infrastructure technologies are preferred.
