The position details are given below: Job Details: Job ID: RQ11143 - Software Developer - Back End - Senior Client : Health Services Cluster Location : 222 Jarvis St. or 49 Place d'Armes Kingston, Toronto, Ontario Duration: 01 year + Extension Type: Onsite Job Description: Must Haves: Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in cloud application development and engineering, Demonstrated recent expertise in Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure Functions, AKS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift), and DevOps/automation tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Ansible, CI/CD pipelines), including building and integrating scalable, cloud-native enterprise solutions. Demonstrated experience in enterprise cloud architecture, security (IAM, encryption, compliance), data engineering (ETL/ELT, Azure data services), observability (monitoring/logging), and advanced DevOps/DevSecOps practices, including API-driven integration, CI/CD pipeline design, and scalable, high-availability Expert in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js) with hands-on experience designing, developing and integrating RESTful APIs. Experience in structured methodologies for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of applications
