About the role
In this role, you will work collaboratively with other seasoned engineers in a global team within a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for embedded firmware build management for new and existing embedded Linux applications for Itrons Outcomes Distributed Intelligence products. The ability to interact with a highly talented group of individual contributors in a global environment is a must. Duties & Responsibilities: You will focus on building a set of pipelines for Firmware and Software agents, including security analysis submissions and software signing for internal and external builds. Interface to and support other firmware and software teams. Collaborate with Product Management and Manufacturing for product release activities Required Skills & Experience: Strong oral and written communications skills Collaborating in a team environment BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Experience using Source Code Control systems especially GIT AzureDevOps build pipeline experience Software build fault diagnosis and remediation Familiarity with software build release management principles Experience using CMAKE and related build tools and Linux containers Experience using container-based systems like Lxd/Lxc, Docker, Kvm, etc. Knowledge of SSH, Putty, scp and other Linux remote management tools Significant, demonstrable Linux experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
