Role SnapshotLocation: Park Street Area, Kolkata Duration: 3 Months Start Date: Immediate Stipend: 12,00015,000 per month Working Hours: MondayFriday (10:00 AM6:00 PM), Saturday (10:00 AM2:00 PM) Openings: 8 Purpose of the RoleThe purpose of this role is to identify operational inefficiencies and develop AI-driven solutions, automation tools, and backend systems that improve productivity and support better decision-making across the organization. This internship offers hands-on exposure to real industrial challenges within a manufacturing environment undergoing rapid technological transformation. Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Improvement & AutomationIdentify manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes across departments and automate them.Recommend the elimination or optimization of redundant workflows and systems.Develop practical AI-driven solutions to address real business and operational challenges.Development & Technical ExecutionBuild internal tools, scripts, and backend systems.Work with APIs, databases, and server-side logic to support automation initiatives.Develop scalable workflows and data pipelines for operational use.Cross-Functional CollaborationCollaborate with operations, manufacturing, and management teams to understand business challenges.Translate operational problems into practical, technology-driven solutions.Support modernization initiatives involving automation and robotics.Candidate ProfileTechnical SkillsStrong proficiency in Python with production-level coding capability.Good understanding of SQL, including complex queries, schema design, and optimization.Experience with backend development, APIs, databases, data pipelines, and server-side logic.Experience implementing background job and worker patterns, including queues, polling loops, retries, and idempotent processing.Ability to design configuration-driven or schema-driven systems that generalize effectively rather than relying on hardcoded, one-off solutions.AI-Native DevelopmentHands-on experience with at least one AI coding tool such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or Codex.Experience building AI agents that perform real actionsnot just chat interfacesbut systems capable of calling tools, triggering workflows, or acting on operational data.Projects (Mandatory)Must have built at least one meaningful real-world project.Tutorial-based or generic portfolio projects will not be considered.What We're Looking ForProactive problem-solvers who can independently identify and address challenges.Strong curiosity for AI, automation, and modern technologies.Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability.Clear communication and effective collaboration skills.What Doesn't MatterDegree, college, or CGPA.Whether the candidate is a student, dropout, or self-taught learner.Number of certifications completed.Our FocusWe value demonstrated work, practical projects, and strong problem-solving ability above academic credentials.
