The BI & Reporting team supports Jabil's Healthcare business by delivering enterprise analytics, reporting, and planning solutions that drive informed decision-making across global operations. Leveraging Power BI, Snowflake, Azure, and PowerON, the team transforms data into actionable insights while supporting a scalable and highly regulated business environment. JOB SUMMARYThe Power BI Developer Healthcare is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and delivery of Power BI reporting solutions across the organization. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and the wider BI team to deliver accurate, reliable, and insightful reporting solutions. The position will contribute to building and maintaining a robust and scalable reporting environment, including supporting PowerON enabled solutions for write-back, planning, and forecasting use cases within a healthcare context. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESDevelopment and ImplementationDesign, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data modelsUse DAX and Power Query to transform and analyze datasetsEnsure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reportsIntegrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including databases and cloud platformsDevelop and support PowerON-enabled reporting solutions, including write-back capabilities and planning/forecasting functionalitySupport the deployment of reporting solutions into production environmentsStandards and Best PracticesFollow established development standards, governance processes, and best practicesCreate and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data models, and PowerON implementationsEnsure alignment with data governance and security requirements, particularly for healthcare dataStay up to date with Power BI and PowerON capabilities and enhancementsReview and OptimizationSupport performance improvements for Power BI reports, datasets, and PowerON solutionsAssist in troubleshooting data, reporting, and write-back functionality issuesIdentify opportunities to improve usability, efficiency, and report performanceCollaboration and CommunicationWork with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and planning requirementsTranslate business needs into effective reporting and interactive PowerON-enabled solutionsCommunicate technical concepts and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborate with data engineers and other IT teams to ensure data availability and qualityQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEEducationDegree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Experience24 years of experience in Power BI development or similar BI toolsExperience building reports and dashboards using Power BIWorking knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modelingExperience with SQL and basic data integration conceptsHands-on experience with PowerON (e.g., Visual Planner or similar) for write-back, planning, or forecasting use casesDesiredExperience working with healthcare data or regulated environmentsExposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure)Power BI certification (preferred)SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTESProficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI ServiceUnderstanding of data warehousing and business intelligence conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience or familiarity with PowerON visual suite capabilitiesGood communication and stakeholder engagement skillsAttention to detail and focus on data accuracyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProactive approach to learning and continuous improvement The BI & Reporting team supports Jabil's Healthcare business by delivering enterprise analytics, reporting, and planning solutions that drive informed decision-making across global operations.
