Role Overview: You are seeking an experienced BAS/BMS Engineer with over 13 years of expertise in Building Automation Systems, IoT/IIoT, Smart Factory solutions, and Industry 4.0 technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and leadership capabilities, with proven experience delivering end-to-end automation solutions across Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Manufacturing, and Utility sectors. This role requires hands-on experience in BAS systems, HVAC (Low Side), and utilities, along with strong project management and troubleshooting skills. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement Building Automation System (BAS/BMS) solutions - Lead end-to-end system integration projects, ensuring seamless communication between IT and OT systems - Develop and support smart factory and digitization initiatives aligned with Industry 4.0 - Configure and manage communication protocols such as: - OPC DA/UAModbus TCPProfibusEthernet/IPMQTTREST APIsBACnet - Prepare and review control system documentation, including: - P&IDs / A&FDs - Software Design Specifications (SDS) - Hardware Design Specifications (HDS) - Functional Specifications (FS) - I/O Lists and BOMs - Sensors Selections & locations - Integration BAS with PCS - Ensure compliance with CGMP/GAMP standards (21 CFR Part 210/211) - Perform troubleshooting, commissioning, and remote technical support - Lead project execution ensuring delivery within scope, cost, and timeline - Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders - Implement IT-OT cybersecurity practices within automation solutions Qualification Required: - Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation / Automation / Electronics Engineering (or equivalent) Additional Details of the Company: At Jacobs, you will work alongside industry leaders on key projects in an environment that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation.
