Senior Engineer - I&C

Key Responsibilities: - Clear understanding of work procedures and ability to work independently - Delivering drawings to desired quality standards and agreed timelines with clients - Communicating confidently with clients or foreign counterparts - Working in a team to deliver projects on time - Attending meetings with technical leads - Independently handling I & C work in projects - Designing and implementing SCADA systems for municipal water/wastewater projects - Providing control system design recommendations, programming, schematic design, and troubleshooting - Knowledge of instrument selection criteria - Experience in SCADA system design and implementation, P&ID development, control system network architecture, instrumentation and controls design, control strategy development, and network security systems - Commissioning SCADA systems and troubleshooting techniques - Working knowledge of PLC and HMI programming - Preparation of design basis and space planning for control rooms - Understanding of all I & C related deliverables and drawings Qualifications Required: - BE/B Tech/ME/M Tech Electrical with 7 years and above experience - Specific experience in municipal water/wastewater projects and control systems engineering - Ability to carry out inter-disciplinary coordination - Resolve design issues and coordinate effectively with leads - Plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members on all design aspects - Attend client meetings for technical clarifications - Capable of working under challenging workload subject to change at short notice - Good communication and IT skills - Software skills in PLC/SCADA Software, Bluebeam Revu, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Additional Company Details: At Jacobs, they prioritize people and believe in the right balance of belonging, career, and lifestyle to consistently exceed clients' expectations.
