About the role
IT SAAS Security engineer1 Key Responsibilities: SaaS & On-Prem Tools Administration: Serve as the administrator for the company's SaaS applications and on-premises tools. Check IDP integration for SAAS Harmonic platforms (~100 as of today) Be responsible for SAAS DR checks ensuring data availability Be responsible for backups and restore of configurations and datas of our SAAS plans Backup & Disaster Recovery (DR): Verify that backups are in place for SAAS critical systems and applications. Propose enhancement if limited by default or non compliant Ensure regular testing and updating of DR plans and procedures. Incident Response (IR): Assist in maintaining the company's Incident Response plan, ensuring that the necessary processes, tools, and contacts are up to date. Participate in IR drills and support the IT team in responding to incidents as necessary. Compliance & Security Monitoring: Assist in ensuring the company complies with relevant security frameworks and best practices (e.g., SOC 2). Maintain a collection of internal and external contacts & documentation for security and compliance matters. Requirements: Experience & Skills: Experience with SaaS administration, ideally with multiple platforms (e.g., Box, o365, Okta, EntraID, Intune, etc.). Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.) and responding to security questionnaires. Basic understanding of disaster recovery, backup systems, and incident response practices. Good understanding of class of risks in order to assess priorities and execution order Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in usage monitoring / review of cloud-based SaaS applications. Basic understanding of on-premises server tools and network configurations. Knowledge of backup and DR software. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory with relevant experience). Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT department Willing to learn and even fork to a more security oriented career.
