Sr SAP BI/BO Consultant1 AMS Support & Incident ManagementProvide L2/L3 support for SAP BO/BI issuesTroubleshoot and resolve:Report failures (Web Intelligence, Crystal Reports)Data inconsistencies between ECC and BWJob failures (ETL / data loads)Manage SLA-driven tickets via tools like ServiceNow / JIRA Reporting &Dashboard SupportSupport and enhance reports built using:SAP BusinessObjects (WebI, Crystal Reports)SAP BW Queries (BEx)Validate report data against ECC tables (e.g., VBAK, BKPF, MARA)Ensure business-critical reports are always available and accurate Change Requests &EnhancementsImplement minor enhancements / CRs:Modify existing reportsCreate new queries or dashboardsPrepare functional/technical specificationsCoordinate with development teams for implementation Data &ETL MonitoringMonitor and support:Data loads (InfoPackages, DTPs, Process Chains)Delta loads from ECC to BWIdentify and fix:Data load failuresPerformance bottlenecks Performance OptimizationOptimize:Slow-running reportsBW queries and data modelsImprove query performance using:AggregatesIndexingQuery design best practices Integration with ECCStrong understanding of ECC data sources:FI, SD, MM modulesValidate extractors and data flow from ECC to BW/BOHandle issues related to:LO CockpitGeneric extractorsDelta mechanisms Testing &Transport ManagementPerform:Unit TestingIntegration TestingUAT supportManage transports across landscapes (DEV QA PROD) Documentation &Knowledge ManagementMaintain:Technical documentationKT documentsReport catalogsSupport knowledge transfer sessions Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities to:Automate reportingImprove data qualityEnhance user experience Required Skills &Experience Experience612 years of SAP BO/BI experienceStrong exposure to ECC AMS / Support projectsExperience in handling production support environments SAP BO SkillsHands-on with:Web Intelligence (WebI)Crystal ReportsUniverse Design (IDT / UDT)Experience in report scheduling and publication SAP BW SkillsStrong knowledge of:BW Data Modeling (InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes)BEx QueriesProcess ChainsExperience in:Data extraction from ECCDelta handling Technical SkillsKnowledge of:SQL / database conceptsECC tables (FI, SD, MM)Understanding of:Data warehousing conceptsETL processes Tools &MethodologiesITSM tools:ServiceNow / JIRA / RemedyExposure to:SAP Solution Manager (nice to have) Good to HaveExposure to:SAP BW on HANA / BW/4HANASAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) .
