Role Description The Fabric Enterprise Azure Data Architect is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise data architectures on Microsoft Azure and Fabric, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining data models, setting up data warehousing solutions, and establishing robust ETL processes to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives. The architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to assess data requirements, implement data governance frameworks, and optimize data flows and storage. The role also involves performance tuning, documentation of architecture standards, and advising stakeholders on best practices for cloud data solutions. Qualifications Strong Data Architecture skills, including the ability to design and implement enterprise-scale data solutions on Azure and Fabric.Proficiency in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence use cases.Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools for building efficient, reliable data pipelines.Knowledge of Data Governance practices, including data quality, security, compliance, and metadata management.Experience with Azure data services (e.g., Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric) and cloud architecture patterns.Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.Ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical solutions, and document architecture and standards clearly.Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
