Job Title: Hardware & Network Engineer Company: Jay Maharaj Software Consulting Pvt Ltd. Location: Ahmedabad- Onsite Job Type: Full-Time- Night shift We are looking for a dedicated Hardware & Network Engineer to ensure our IT infrastructure runs smoothly and securely to support our growing team. Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Hardware & Network Engineer to oversee, maintain, and upgrade our companys computer hardware, local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and related IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who can minimize system downtime, ensure data security, and provide excellent technical support to our employees. Key Responsibilities: - Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and manage computer hardware, operating systems, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and printers. - Network Administration: Monitor network performance (LAN/WAN) to ensure maximum availability, speed, and reliability. Manage IP routing, DNS, DHCP, and VPN configurations. - Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner. Act as an escalation point for complex IT helpdesk tickets. - Security & Compliance: Implement and maintain network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems. Ensure regular system backups and disaster recovery protocols are in place. - Asset Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets, hardware lifecycle logs, and network documentation. - Upgrades & Maintenance: Perform regular system updates, patch management, and hardware upgrades to prevent obsolescence and security vulnerabilities. Qualifications & Requirements: - Experience: 1+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer, Hardware Engineer, IT Support Specialist, or a similar role. - Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. - Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, routing protocols, subnetting). - Experience with operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.
