Sr. Engineering Manager Role Overview As an Engineering Manager at JazzX AI, you will lead, mentor, and grow high-performing engineering teams that develop scalable, AI-driven, enterprise platforms and products. Project Management Plan, prioritize, and manage technical projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality platforms and products Use Agile methodologies to organize sprints, retrospectives, and daily stan-ups. Own the quality and timelines of team execution, outputs and outcomes. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with research and other engineers, product management, and UX design to define and execute product roadmaps. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, translating technical goals into business outcomes. Recruitment and Team Growth Attract and hire top engineering talent to grow the team. Build and maintain a pipeline of future engineering leaders. Required Qualifications Experience: 12+ years of experience in software engineering with 4+ years in an engineering management role. Proven track record of leading teams to deliver scalable, production-grade enterprise software platforms and products. Experience with AI/ML platforms and distributed systems Technical Expertise: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or similar). Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and cloud-native technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity managing AI/ML pipelines, data engineering, and MLOps best practices. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adept at conflict resolution, feedback delivery, and fostering a positive team environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in startups or building enterprise platforms and products from the ground up. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with trade-offs in scaling AI systems and infrastructure. Understanding of compliance and security considerations in AI/ML implementations.
