Job description Embedded Firmware Developer We are looking for a Can-Do thinker for the role of Embedded Developer to work on the newest IoT Technologies around Smart Cities and Industry 4.0. K ey Responsibilities and Accountabilities Code Development: Write, test, and debug embedded software in C/C++ for MCU and Python Scripting for Linux SBC(e.g., STM32, ARM Cortex, ESP32, nRF, Raspberry, Arduino). Hardware Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to design and troubleshoot, ensuring seamless interaction between software and hardware. Developing Interface for Human-Machine Interface (HMI). Testing & Debugging: Perform unit testing, system integration, and troubleshoot firmware issues. Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, including design documents and test reports. Protocol Implementation: Develop drivers for peripheral interfaces like I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO. Qualifications and Experience B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science/Electronics & Communication. Minimum of 1-3 years experience designing, developing & debugging drivers, firmware, and software in embedded environment. Freshers with right attitude & skills also accepted. Competencies & Skills Required for the Role Programming: Proficiency in C/C++ programming on 32-Bit MCUs Linux Scripting in Embedded Linux will be an added advantage. Knowledge: Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and computer architecture. Preference: Good understanding of protocols & interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, RS-232, ADC, 4-20ma is preferred. Tools: Familiarity with debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, In-Circuit Emulators) and version control (Git). Skills: Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and ability to work in a team. Typical Daily Activities Debugging code to resolve hardware-software integration failures. Reading hardware schematics and data sheets. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements.
