Material Testing Technician - Soil, Concrete & Geotech (Civil)

Role & responsibilities: JEMS Multi-Tech Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. operates three NABL-accredited material testing laboratories in Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Mehsana and Deyodar) along with a civil road & bridge design consultancy. We have a strong pipeline of geotechnical investigation (GTI) projects over the next 6 months and are hiring 5 field-capable staff for laboratory testing and site investigation work. Note on location: positions are based at our Ahmedabad and Mehsana laboratories, with regular work at project sites across Gujarat. - Carry out material testing - soil, concrete, aggregate and bitumen - as per NABL procedures (full training will be given) - Geotechnical field work: boreholes, Standard Penetration Test (SPT), undisturbed and disturbed sample collection, and Soil Bearing Capacity (SBC) determination - Travel to and work at project sites as required - this is a field-based role - Record test observations accurately and prepare test reports - Maintain laboratory equipment, calibration records and sample registers - Follow all laboratory safety and quality procedures Preferred candidate profile: - Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering, B.Sc, or ITI (related trade) - FRESHERS ARE WELCOME - full NABL training will be provided - Candidates with geotechnical investigation, soil testing, material testing or site experience will be given strong preference and a higher salary - Must be willing to travel and stay at project sites when required - Basic computer skills for test reporting - Two-wheeler / willingness to travel within Gujarat is an advantage Perks and benefits: - Salary Rs. 15,000 - 30,000 per month (Rs. 1.8 - 3.6 LPA), based on experience - Full training in NABL testing procedures - a strong career start for freshers - Hands-on experience across soil, concrete, aggregate and bitumen testing plus geotechnical investigation - Growing company with 3 laboratories and a strong project pipeline - real growth opportunity - Site allowance for outstation project work To apply: apply on Naukri, WhatsApp your CV to 9662266542, or email jemsmultitechhr@gmail.com
