Automation Tester - Playwright

Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements (PRDs, Epics, User Stories) to identify test scenarios and design comprehensive test cases. Perform manual testing including functional, regression, integration, API, and database validation. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright for UI and end- to-end workflows. Execute API testing (Postman, RestAssured , or equivalent) to validate integrations. Conduct database testing (SQL queries, data validation, stored procedure checks). Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, UAT support). Ensure test coverage aligns with business and compliance requirements (HIPAA). Document test results, report defects, and track resolution in Jira (or equivalent). Contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices, automation frameworks, and CI/CD integration. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3- 6 years of QA experience across manual and automation testing. Strong experience in Playwright automation (UI/E2E) with TypeScript/JavaScript. Solid background in manual testing (functional, regression, UAT). Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, RestAssured ). Proficiency in SQL for database validation and backend testing. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like Jira/Confluence. (Preferred) Exposure to healthcare/WFM systems and HIPAA compliance.
