About the role
Hi, We are hiring Manager -R&D for our Innovation center based in Navi Mumbai. Position Title: Manager R&D Work Location: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai Position Summary: A Manager of R&D for SLPU (Solventless Polyurethane) Adhesives is a strategic leadership role focused on developing, testing, and commercializing advanced, eco-friendly adhesive technologies. Key Responsibilities: Formulation & Innovation: Lead the synthesis, modification, and compounding of Silylated Polyurethane (SPUR) and Solventless Polyurethane (SLPU) adhesive systems. New Product Development (NPD): Drive end-to-end product life cycles from laboratory scale-up to pilot plant trials and full-scale commercial manufacturing. Strategic Leadership: Translate business goals into technical objectives, mentor R&D scientists, and allocate resources efficiently. Technical Support: Partner with sales and marketing teams to facilitate technology transfers and resolve complex, on-site technical customer applications. Compliance & IP: Ensure regulatory compliance, manage intellectual property portfolios, and maintain strict quality control standards. Experience & Qualification: Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, or Chemical Engineering. 10+ years of progressive R&D experience in industrial adhesives, specifically within polyurethane/polyester chemistries and lamination applications.
