Release Manager

JiBe is a cloud-based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry, aiming to enhance productivity, efficiency, and safety levels while reducing costs. By offering increased automation and streamlining of processes, JiBe creates pre-defined workflows and diminishes the reliance on email and paper. Join our team as a Product Manager to directly impact our growth. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and monitor software releases through planning, execution, and verification. - Coordinate cross-functional teams for successful and timely releases. - Develop and implement release strategies and schedules. - Identify and mitigate risks affecting release scope, schedule, and quality. - Lead Go-Live activities, including deployment plans and checklists execution. - Conduct release readiness, milestone, and business go/no-go reviews. - Maintain a release repository with key information like build procedures, dependencies, and notification lists. - Collaborate with release engineers on branch impacts and code merges. - Drive continuous enhancements in the release process. - Be available during release windows, go-live activities, and critical production issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. - Proven experience in release management or similar role. - Strong grasp of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management principles. - Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate across teams. - Familiarity with release management tools and practices. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster). - Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
