Senior Software Engineer C++ - Backend - Remote

Role Overview: Jitterbit is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their collaborative and innovative engineering team. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new features for their iPaaS and APIM platform. You will work with a modern and diverse tech stack including languages & frameworks such as C++, Java, and Lua, infrastructure & DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Nginx, Tomcat, and Apache, data & messaging technologies like MySQL, SQL Server, Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, InfluxDB, and cloud services such as AWS (S3, CloudFront, DynamoDB). You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects from design through deployment, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance in a 24x7x365 environment. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop new features for the iPaaS and APIM platform - Work with a diverse tech stack including languages & frameworks, infrastructure & DevOps tools, data & messaging technologies, and cloud services - Take ownership of projects from design through deployment to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and operations to push the boundaries of enterprise integration - Mentor and help others grow in the team - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills - Work effectively in a distributed team and excel in a remote culture - Drive key initiatives and make data-driven decisions - Embrace a best idea strategy regardless of the source Qualifications: - 10+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications - Strong experience in building multi-tenant SaaS applications - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail - Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns - Strong experience in Java and top-tier RDBMS such as SQL Server and MySQL - Excellent authoring skills in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML - Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java Node.js, or Go - Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes - Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront (Note: Additional details about the company were not present in the job description provided.)
