Power Bi Developer - Retail (Uttar Pradesh)

Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Retail Analytics Power BI Developer with strong expertise in retail business processes, warehouse management operations, and enterprise analytics solutions. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, retail operations teams, supply chain teams, and technology teams to define, design, and deliver actionable analytics and dashboards that support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of retail KPIs, inventory management, warehouse operations, replenishment, sales analytics, and supply chain performance metrics, along with hands-on expertise in Power BI development and data modeling. The analytics professional who can bridge the gap between Retail business users and technology teams, and who can build impactful analytics solutions that improve operational visibility, inventory optimization, warehouse efficiency, and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities - Engage with business stakeholders to gather analytics and reporting requirements across Retail, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Warehouse Management functions. - Understand retail business processes including: - Sales and Store Operations - Inventory Management - Warehouse Management - Order Fulfillment - Replenishment and Allocation - Supply Chain and Logistics - Define business KPIs, analytical models, and dashboard requirements in collaboration with business users. - Design and develop interactive dashboards, scorecards, and analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI. - Develop scalable data models, DAX measures, calculated columns, and optimized visualizations. - Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams for data sourcing and performance optimization. - Conduct data validation, testing, and reconciliation to ensure reporting accuracy. - Provide business insights and recommendations based on data trends and analytics. - Support governance, security, and performance optimization of Power BI environments. - Create functional and technical documentation for analytics solutions. Required Skills & Experience - Technical Skills - Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Power BI development. - Expertise in: - Power BI Desktop - Power BI Service - DAX - Power Query - Data Modeling - Dashboard and Report Development - Strong SQL and database querying skills. - Exposure to ETL tools and enterprise reporting environments. - Knowledge of cloud-based analytics environments is preferred. Retail & Domain Expertise - Robust understanding of Retail and Warehouse Management business processes. - Experience in defining retail analytics and KPIs with business users. - Experience working with Retail ERP/WMS systems is highly preferred. - Soft Skills - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions. - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capability. - Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent presentation and business communication skills. Qualifications - Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. - Relevant certifications in Microsoft Power BI are an added advantage.
