Senior Snowflake Data Engineer IoT / Battery Analytics / Telematics Location: Hyderabad, India (100% Onsite) Employment Type: Full Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in building real-time data pipelines for IoT, telematics, or battery sensor platforms. This is not a general Snowflake Data Engineering role. The ideal candidate should have experience processing high-volume sensor or telemetry data and building scalable cloud data solutions for analytics and AI/ML use cases. Required Skills Strong experience with Snowflake Data Engineering Hands-on experience with Snowpipe, Snowpipe Streaming, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Snowpark Strong SQL and Python programming skills Experience building ELT/ETL pipelines for structured and semi-structured (JSON/VARIANT) data Experience with Kafka, Azure Event Hub, Azure IoT Hub, or similar real-time streaming technologies Experience working with IoT, telematics, connected devices, or industrial sensor data Good understanding of Battery Management Systems (BMS), including State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), voltage, current, temperature, and battery diagnostics Experience handling time-series data and telemetry datasets Experience with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) or similar cloud storage platforms Experience implementing data quality checks, monitoring, and pipeline observability Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex is highly preferred Nice to Have Experience with CAN Bus, DBC files, or automotive/industrial communication protocols Automotive, Electric Vehicle (EV), Manufacturing, Industrial IoT, or Material Handling domain experience Predictive Maintenance or Battery Health Analytics Experience with dbt Exposure to AI/ML pipelines and anomaly detection Responsibilities Design and develop scalable Snowflake data pipelines for real-time telemetry and sensor data. Build and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Snowpipe, Snowpipe Streaming, Kafka, Azure Event Hub, or Azure IoT Hub. Process and transform high-volume IoT and battery telemetry data into analytics-ready datasets. Build data models for time-series analytics and battery health reporting. Develop Snowpark-based transformations, stored procedures, and data quality frameworks. Work with cross-functional teams to support predictive maintenance and AI/ML analytics initiatives. Optimize Snowflake performance, storage, and query execution. Ensure data reliability, monitoring, and observability across the data platform. .
