About the role
As the Design and Engineering Head in a Pharmaceutical background with experience in Water System, you will play a crucial role in leading and mentoring teams of process and design engineers on complex projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading and mentoring teams on projects related to ultrapure water (UPW), highpurity water, and wastewater treatment systems - Directing project phases such as feasibility, detailed design, construction, and operational support - Ensuring designs meet international regulatory standards and client-specific protocols - Overseeing technical documentation deliverables and driving innovation in engineering practices - Managing budgets, project timelines, and resources, while ensuring stakeholder communication - Providing technical support during installation, start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting of systems - Representing the organization at industry technical forums and conferences, showcasing technical leadership To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelors or masters degree in Chemical, Environmental, Process, or Mechanical Engineering - 15+ years of experience in process engineering for water and ultrapure water systems - Proven experience managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and delivering large EPC projects - Familiarity with process simulation and digital engineering tools, project management, and communication skills The company focuses on serving pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, semiconductor and battery plants, data centers, and critical infrastructure requiring highpurity water and contamination controls.
