About the role

As a Civil Project Manager/Head in Construction & Real Estate, you will play a crucial role in leading and overseeing civil construction projects within the residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Your responsibilities will include managing project execution, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring quality and safety standards, and delivering projects within set timelines and budgets. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed project execution plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies. - Review and approve technical drawings, designs, and specifications. - Manage end-to-end civil construction activities including excavation, RCC, shuttering, finishing, and external development works. - Lead, supervise, and mentor engineers, supervisors, and site staff. - Coordinate with contractors, vendors, consultants, and stakeholders. - Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely completion of tasks. - Implement QA/QC processes to maintain construction quality and material standards. - Conduct regular site inspections and audits. - Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. - Prepare project budgets and cost estimates. - Track project expenses and implement cost-control measures. - Approve vendor bills, procurement requests, and monitor material usage. - Liaise with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, and authorities. - Maintain daily progress reports (DPRs), MIS reports, and documentation. - Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and risks. Key Skills & Competencies: - Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project management principles. - Proficiency in tools such as MS Project / Primavera, AutoCAD, Excel, and ERP systems. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and compliance standards. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) - Masters Degree (preferred but not mandatory) As a preferred candidate, you should have experience in Real Estate (Residential / Commercial / Industrial Projects), Infrastructure Development, and Construction Companies / PMC Firms.
