Sr. Java Developer

As a professional software engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering Enterprise software solutions. Your role involves writing code with standards and conventions while following best practices. Encouraging and leading innovation, as well as solid lifecycle processes, will be key aspects of your responsibilities. Collaboration with development teams on work definition, estimation, and prioritization is crucial. You will have the opportunity to lead and grow, taking full ownership of product deliveries and mentoring junior team members. Key Responsibilities: - Design, build, and deliver Enterprise software solutions - Write code with standards, conventions, and best practices - Encourage innovation and solid lifecycle processes - Collaborate with development teams on work definition, estimation, and prioritization - Lead and grow as a professional software engineer - Own product deliveries and mentor junior team members - Prepare curriculum to train junior developers for Java Web Development - Interact with clients to provide excellent Quality of Service - Own the code base, ensuring high-quality code through reviews - Write and modify coding conventions and standards documents for development Required Skills: - Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, JDBC, Hibernate, RESTful APIs, SOAP WebServices - Familiarity with JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, CSS3; knowledge of Angular is an added advantage - Experience with Junit or Mockito frameworks, Maven, Git - Understanding of Data Structures, SQL, MySQL, designing relational database schemas - Basics of AWS, Cloud, Microservices - Strong knowledge and experience in Agile-based software development methodologies, including working with Agile tools like Jira - Expertise in integrating 3rd party APIs and creating new APIs - Ability to create Flow diagrams, UMLs, and necessary documentation If you have a domain preference, experience in BFSI or FinTech would be beneficial.
