Senior Data Scientist

Develop, deploy, and maintain advanced machine learning, deep learning, and AI models that support business growth, enhance products, and improve customer outcomes.

Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets to perform exploratory analysis, feature engineering, model development, and data visualization.

Design, build, optimize, and monitor recommendation systems and other predictive models while ensuring ongoing model performance through drift detection and continuous evaluation.

Write efficient, production-ready code, deploy models in cloud environments, conduct A/B testing, and implement data quality validation throughout the machine learning lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data science can create value, communicate technical findings, and present prototypes or proof-of-concepts to leadership and clients.

Stay current with emerging AI and machine learning technologies, rapidly prototype solutions using frontier large language models, and evaluate scalable deployment approaches based on performance, cost, and security considerations.

Partner with global teams, including colleagues in North America, to deliver high-impact initiatives and continuously improve data science practices across the organization.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience designing, developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models in production environments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a related technical discipline.

• Strong programming expertise in Python and hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.

• Solid experience with SQL, ETL processes, cloud-based development environments, and open-source data science technologies.

• Proven ability to rapidly prototype AI solutions, particularly using modern large language model APIs, while evaluating scalable deployment strategies using platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Ollama, LangChain, or fine-tuned open-source models.

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.

• Experience working in fast-paced, agile, or startup environments is highly desirable, along with the flexibility to collaborate across multiple time zones.
