Senior Network Engineer

The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for delivering reliable, scalable, and secure network solutions while supporting global infrastructure operations. The role requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, solution design capabilities, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Design, configure, and implement complex regional network solutions supporting business expansion, application delivery, and infrastructure improvements.

Develop and maintain solutions involving switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways, IP telephony, SD-WAN, WAN optimization, load balancers, and other enterprise networking technologies.

Provide operational support for global and regional network services, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability for business-critical applications.

Troubleshoot complex network issues and independently resolve incidents with minimal support from senior technical teams.

Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to identify optimization opportunities and improve network efficiency.

Maintain accurate technical documentation, including architecture updates, configurations, and operational procedures.

Track assigned projects and tasks effectively to ensure deadlines, quality standards, and business objectives are achieved.

Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and guidance on complex networking concepts.

Stay current with emerging networking technologies and contribute ideas to improve infrastructure performance and security.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will bring strong enterprise networking experience, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a global, collaborative environment. Candidates should demonstrate technical depth, ownership, and strong communication abilities.

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in network engineering, infrastructure support, or related technology roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.

• Strong hands-on experience designing, configuring, and supporting enterprise network environments.

• Expertise in networking technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, voice solutions, and network security.

• Experience working with technologies such as Cisco networking solutions, load balancers, and enterprise communication platforms.

• Knowledge of network performance optimization, latency reduction techniques, and modern infrastructure tools.

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Cisco DevNet Professional, CCNP Security, CCNP Collaboration, or load balancer certifications are preferred.

• Ability to analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to mentor others and work effectively in multicultural environments.
