About the role
Build, evolve, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations across REST APIs, OAuth flows, webhooks, authentication systems, and API lifecycle management.
Own backend engineering projects from design through deployment, ensuring solutions are reliable, secure, scalable, and maintainable.
Use AI-assisted and agentic development workflows to improve productivity, including defining tasks, configuring tools, reviewing generated code, and maintaining responsibility for technical quality.
Design and operate engineering workflows that allow AI tools to safely support code generation, refactoring, migrations, testing, and large-scale improvements.
Debug complex issues across internal services, third-party APIs, customer environments, and automated workflows using logs, traces, metrics, and customer feedback.
Improve integration reliability by addressing API changes, dependency updates, performance challenges, and production issues.
Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Support, Sales, Product, Security, and Compliance teams to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions and establish reusable engineering patterns, standards, and best practices for integrations.
Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, pair programming, and knowledge sharing around backend development and AI-assisted workflows.
Contribute to shared engineering infrastructure, including libraries, SDKs, CI pipelines, testing frameworks, observability tools, and developer productivity initiatives.
Monitor technical quality and reliability metrics while continuously improving system performance, resilience, and developer experience.
