Technical Product Manager

Own a complete product vertical end-to-end, including product strategy, business outcomes, roadmap prioritization, backlog management, and delivery execution.

Define clear acceptance criteria, product requirements, and success metrics that enable engineering teams to build and validate solutions effectively.

Partner with engineering teams to shape technical designs, including system architecture, APIs, workflows, data handling, scalability, security, and reliability considerations.

Make informed product trade-offs between speed, cost, user experience, technical complexity, and operational reliability.

Design solutions for complex financial workflows, including transaction accuracy, reconciliation, failure handling, refunds, retries, and recovery processes.

Incorporate regulatory and compliance requirements into product decisions, including identity verification, transaction monitoring, privacy, licensing, and data governance.

Evaluate and implement AI capabilities where they create measurable product value, while defining appropriate controls, evaluation methods, and human oversight requirements.

Ensure AI-driven features remain reliable, explainable, and connected to accurate underlying data sources.

Manage product delivery across external dependencies, including third-party integrations, financial rails, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance teams to ensure successful product launches.

Drive alignment across teams by communicating priorities, decisions, risks, and product direction clearly.

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex technical products from strategy through delivery.

• Strong product leadership skills with the ability to make decisions in ambiguous environments and balance business goals with technical and regulatory constraints.

• Solid understanding of system design principles, including architecture boundaries, databases, APIs, queues, workflows, failure scenarios, and consistency challenges.

• Ability to review and challenge technical designs, understand engineering trade-offs, and collaborate effectively with senior engineers.

• Experience working in regulated or high-impact industries such as payments, banking, insurance, financial services, or similar domains.

• Strong understanding of financial systems and the importance of accuracy, reliability, compliance, and user trust when handling sensitive transactions.

• Hands-on experience with AI-powered products and the ability to define evaluation approaches for LLM-based features.

• Understanding of AI limitations, including hallucinations, data gaps, model uncertainty, and situations where deterministic systems are preferred.

• Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.

• Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

• Nice to have:
