As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable .NET applications that support various functions within the AMC domain, including portfolio management, risk analysis, compliance, and trading. Your main responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining clean, maintainable, and efficient .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, and other Microsoft technologies. - Implementing microservices and APIs to facilitate integration with other systems. - Collaborating with architects and technical leads to design system architectures that meet business requirements, focusing on performance, scalability, and security. - Working on both front-end and back-end aspects of the application, using technologies like React, Angular for front-end and .NET Core for the back end. - Designing databases (SQL Server or Oracle) for optimal data management, query performance, and scalability. - Integrating .NET applications with third-party financial platforms and other AMC tools. - Ensuring code quality through peer code reviews, adherence to coding standards, and automated testing. - Implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub. - Analysing system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and troubleshooting application performance issues. - Providing Level 3 support for existing applications, ensuring timely resolution of production issues. - Developing and maintaining system documentation, including technical specifications, API documentation, and user guides. - Communicating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams across development, QA, and DevOps for seamless project delivery. - Ensuring all applications adhere to industry best practices for security, especially concerning data protection and financial transactions. The experience you bring to this role includes: - Strong proficiency in .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, .NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework. - Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Blazor is a plus. - Proficiency in SQL Server, Oracle, or other relational database systems, with knowledge of database design and optimization. - Database programming experience with both SQL and NoSQL data stores. - Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS for deploying and managing .NET applications. - Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment. - Proficiency with project management and version control tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, GitHub, etc. - Strong experience with automated testing frameworks. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Proactive attitude towards learning and development.
