About the role
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer: Project Management: Oversee all phases of the construction project, from planning to completion. Ensure projects are completed according to design specifications, budget, and schedule. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to maintain efficient workflow. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and site personnel. Interpret and implement complex construction drawings and specifications. Resolve technical issues and challenges that arise on-site. Quality Control: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship and quality. Identify and address any defects or issues promptly. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate site records, including progress reports, inspection logs, and daily reports. Prepare and submit necessary documentation, such as method statements, risk assessments, and site plans. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and other stakeholders on project status. Health and Safety: Promote and enforce a strong culture of health and safety on-site. Conduct safety audits, toolbox talks, and ensure all site activities comply with safety regulations. Qualifications: B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction or engineering role. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and health and safety regulations. Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Work Environment: Must be able to work on construction sites in various weather conditions. Ability to stand, walk, and move around the site for extended periods. May require lifting and carrying of materials and equipment. Salary: Based on interview performance.
