About the role
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of experience in building and operating production-grade infrastructure. This role emphasises automation, reliability, and developer enablement, not manual operations. You will design scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure, improve observability, and drive best practices across the engineering organisation. Responsibilities Design, build, and operate scalable cloud infrastructure. Own infrastructure architecture with high availability, security, and cost efficiency. Drive standardisation and automation across infrastructure. Build and maintain fast, reliable CI/CD pipelines. Enable safe deployments (automation, rollbacks, environment isolation). Improve developer productivity through tooling and self-service workflows. Implement and enhance monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Define and manage SLOs/SLIs to improve reliability. Lead incident response, RCA, and preventive improvements. Automate provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Eliminate manual operational tasks through scripting and tooling. Maintain versioned, auditable, Git-based infrastructure workflows. Implement security best practices across infrastructure and CI/CD. Manage secrets, access control, and environment isolation. Collaborate on compliance and security requirements. Partner with backend and frontend teams to improve deployment and runtime reliability. Mentor engineers on operational best practices. Influence platform and reliability standards across teams. Requirements 4+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering. Hands-on experience operating production systems at scale. Technical Skills Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS / GCP / Azure). Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar). Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins or similar). Strong scripting ability (Bash, Python or similar) for automation. Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. Solid understanding of distributed systems, failure modes, and reliability trade-offs.
