About the role
As a Lead Engineer in Building Management System global projects in the India center of excellence, your primary responsibility is to handle detailed engineering as per country-specific standards. You will independently execute projects throughout their lifecycle and handle first-level escalations. Your role includes following processes, maintaining required quality standards, and ensuring on-time deliveries to achieve customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Review MEP drawings to identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors. - Review control specifications and sequence of operations. - Generate initial review sheets and RFIs. - Create Bill of material, select sensors, control valves, dampers, air flow stations, controllers, etc. - Manage control devices and controller wiring, terminations, interlock wiring. - Prepare I/O Summary. - Program supervisory and DDC level controllers, create test plans, perform simulations, and deliver commissioning packages from the India Engineering center. - Review control specifications for SCADA/HMI requirements and sequence of operations. - Ensure quality assurance and defect-free hardware and software package delivery. - Adhere to all processes and guidelines to execute projects within the timeline. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or BE/ME in Instrumentation, Electrical, or Electronics. - 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in the Building Automation Industry or Industrial Automation. - Strong knowledge of System architecture with different types of Operator workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators, etc. - Knowledge of network protocols like BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols. - Proficiency in wiring of starters, field devices, safety interlocks & panels. - Experience in Industrial Automation (PLC programming/SCADA) will be an advantage. - Experience in engineering, installing, and commissioning HVAC & BMS systems will be an added advantage. - Quick learner with a keen eye for problem-solving. - Proficient in written and verbal communication. - Ability to demonstrate good leadership skills.
