About the role
As a Senior Data Specialist at our company, you will play a key role in extracting valuable insights from complex data sets to support decision-making across the organization. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining comprehensive data management frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. - Performing complex data analyses to identify trends, patterns, and insights that align with business objectives. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and define data requirements for reporting and analysis. - Creating and managing dashboards and visualizations to present key performance indicators and insights to stakeholders. - Providing training and support to team members on data management best practices and tools. - Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures. - Utilizing advanced analytics tools and techniques to analyze data sets and conduct in-depth analyses. - Working closely with IT and data engineering teams to design and implement data pipelines and data integration processes. - Developing data quality standards and performing regular audits to uphold data integrity. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4-7 years of experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Experience in the building technology or smart buildings industry is a plus.
