Product and Applications Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for designing Fire & Security systems such as Fire Alarm, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, and CCTV according to respective account standards. You must have a strong domain knowledge of Fire & Security System engineering and experience in customer-facing roles on a global scale. Your duties will include working independently, applying established standards and practices proficiently, acting as the interface to customers, ensuring projects are executed within agreed schedules and budgets, and meeting customer technical specification requirements. Additionally, you will be expected to carry out Hardware Detail Design, Engineering and Application Development, as well as develop Typical/Templates for Complex systems and project-specific standards. Monitoring and controlling assigned work scope against the project plan, ensuring effective change control, identifying risks/opportunities, and ensuring the proposed engineered solution meets project requirements are also key aspects of this role. You will be required to work in compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, identify improvement opportunities, ensure common methods/tools/products are effectively applied, review the implementation of applications with respect to project standards and quality documents, and conduct quality checks to ensure the final deliverable meets customer functional specifications. Additionally, you will be expected to utilize engineering tools for optimization of Engineering man-hours to improve productivity and quality.
