About the role
Job Title: DB Tester / Database Tester / Data tester/Functional Tester Location: Offshore India - BangaloreBusiness Unit: Technology Category: Testing and Quality Assurance Type: Contingent / Technical Duration : 6 months Submission : 2 Experience : 8+ Years Key Responsibilities Functional Testing: - Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. - Identify, document, and track functional defects. - Collaborate with developers to resolve issues. - Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability. - Develop and maintain automated functional test scripts. Database Testing: - Design and execute test plans/test cases for database functionality, performance, and security. - Perform data validation, integrity checks, and consistency testing. - Write and execute SQL queries to verify data accuracy and completeness. - Identify, document, and track database-related defects. - Collaborate with DBAs and developers to resolve issues. - Develop and maintain automated database test scripts. - Monitor database performance and identify potential bottlenecks. General: - Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. - Stay updated with the latest testing tools and trends. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members. Required Skills & Experience - Strong experience in functional and database testing. - Hands-on expertise with SQL queries and database validation. - Knowledge of automation frameworks for functional and database testing. - Excellent problem-solving and defect tracking skills. - Robust communication and collaboration abilities.
