Test Automation Engineer - Associate

As a Test Automation Engineer in the financial services technology team, you will play a crucial role in acquiring, managing, and retaining meaningful relationships to ensure outstanding customer experience. Your focus will be on delivering business results by providing options and solutions to address customer issues efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee all technology components of diverse and complex automation projects, utilizing AI/LLM-assisted planning and execution to expedite deliverables while ensuring timing, functionality, quality, and control compliance. - Communicate with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates. - Contribute to the formulation of strategies for project leadership and other functional areas. - Produce metrics, KPIs, and analyses to facilitate data-driven automation decisions. - Design and implement solutions to automate, capture, store, and maintain real-time test data for validation, progress measurement, and performance in change delivery. - Define and implement data validation approaches to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, monitoring data integrity through iterative testing. - Manage datasets for automation testing and those provided or used by vendors. - Lead the automation testing effort using AI tools for execution, defect triage, root-cause analysis, and regression prioritization. - Identify opportunities for testing automation and synergies within the project, recommending high-ROI candidates and reducing duplicate effort. - Ensure adherence to firm-wide standards, controls, and governance of intelligent automation solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or higher degree with 8+ years experience in test design, execution, and management within the financial services industry. - Expertise in architecting, developing, and maintaining innovative test automation environments, including automation test framework design and development. - Proficiency in Java with scripting capability in VB and Java, hands-on test automation experience using Selenium and BDD frameworks like Cucumber/Gherkin. - Proficiency in AI-Augmented Test Automation Frameworks and AI-powered testing tools for building self-healing test scripts. - Hands-on experience using LLMs to generate test cases, synthetic data, BDD scenarios, and automation code with strong prompt engineering skills. - Ability to apply AI/ML for risk-based testing, defect prediction, and test suite optimization. - Proficient in CI/CD tools and experienced in API testing. - Strong expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and adaptability to evolving methodologies, with knowledge of HTML5, AngularJS, and ReactJS UI. Preferred Skills: - Python proficiency is an added advantage.
