Job responsibilities Identifying, documenting and suggesting potential solutions for accessibility barriers based on WCAG 2.1 standards as well as compliance with other accessibility related laws Applying accessibility knowledge to a wide range of the firms digital properties, including native mobile applications, and digital documents Collaborating with Software Engineers and UX designers in one on one or small group environments Assist Senior Accessibility Engineers with training Software Engineers and UX designers Performing impact analysis and risk evaluation from users point of view. Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: Practical experience testing for WCAG conformance using screen readers, magnifiers and other assistive tech tools Ability to analyze code for accessibility issues in HTML5/CSS3 Word, PowerPoint, and other document standards Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills: PDF/UA and other document standards Mobile accessibility on Android and IOS Automation using cypress, Selenium and/or playwright An Accessibility Specialist ensuring digital products meet WCAG standards and enhancing user experience.
