As a Business Analyst specializing in Business Intelligence solutions for the Auto Finance domain at J.P. Morgan, your role will involve analyzing business needs and proposing automated reporting solutions to save costs and minimize risks while ensuring compliance with established controls. You will be responsible for designing and building solutions, conducting quality checks, generating regular and special reports, and recommending changes to improve efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct business process reviews, analyze process and data flows, and develop automated solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce risks. - Maintain business process tools and ensure compliance with evolving business processes and requirements. - Gather, input, and manipulate data for routine financial analysis and reporting purposes. - Perform business process, comparative analysis, and loan portfolio performance analysis to provide actionable insights. - Validate data accuracy, assist in report preparation, and distribute reports to internal and external stakeholders. - Articulate analysis results in reports, presentations, and recommendations to key stakeholders. - Develop expertise in business processes, procedures, and applications to become a subject matter expert within the function. Qualifications: - 7 years of experience in business analysis, BI solutions development, process design, and reporting. - Proficiency in SQL and technical understanding of common RDBMS systems (e.g., Teradata, Oracle). - 4 years' experience in reporting and end-user business intelligence tools such as Tableau. - Knowledge of Python, VBA Scripts, and Visio is a plus. - Experience with big data transformation tools and languages like Alteryx, Python. - Strong PC skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. - In-depth knowledge of consumer and wholesale banking data. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently, collaborate with colleagues, and share best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. - Detail-oriented with good judgment and resourcefulness. Educational Requirement: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline with 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
