About the role
Role Overview: You have the opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team in the Data Management department as a Dashboard Factory Lead and QlikSense Subject Matter Expert (SME) within the Commercial & Investment Banking team. Your role involves supporting the design and development of new dashboards, enhancing existing dashboards and reports, and managing data initiatives for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all development on the QlikSense platform follows best practices, principles, and standards, complying with data control standards. - Present data and reports clearly and concisely to enable dashboard end users and senior leadership to quickly grasp results and analytics for data-driven decision-making. - Stay informed about emerging processes, technologies, and best practices in data analytics and data science to continuously enhance skills. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and business app developers, to align on requirements and deliverables. - Familiarize yourself with key metrics and data elements by working with data domain partners to understand data availability. - Gather requirements by working with business stakeholders to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data sources necessary for data analysis. - Source data from single-source-of-truth sources and optimize SQL queries for Hadoop/AWS environments. - Design and develop data models in Qlik Sense to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. - Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, charts, and reports using Qlik Sense's interface. - Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights, developing meaningful metrics and visualizations. - Document and maintain DRD, data model scripts, RO signoffs, and V&E configurations for future reference and compliance. Qualification Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience in the field. - Experience in designing and developing data models in Qlik Sense to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
