As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Asset and Wealth Management for Performance and Attribution Insights Team, you are an essential member of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves conducting critical technology solutions across various technical areas to support the firm's business objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches - Develop secure high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others - Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance operational stability - Lead, mentor, and guide a team of UI developers, fostering technical excellence and high code quality - Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate prototypes into pixel-perfect code and align with backend engineers - Conduct evaluation sessions with internal teams to drive architectural designs and applicability for existing systems - Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and use of new technologies - Contribute to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Advanced proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3/SASS - Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring front-end teams - Strong client communication skills and stakeholder management experience - Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and IT systems - Practical cloud native experience Additional Company Details: The company values diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect in its team culture.
