About the role
Role Overview: You will be a critical member of the Model Risk Management team, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of quantitative models. Your expertise will be valuable in mitigating risks associated with model usage. Key Responsibilities: - Review and assess the risk profiles of quantitative models used across the organization. - Develop and implement model validation plans. - Conduct model validation activities, including testing, data analysis, and documentation. - Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing model risks and recommendations. - Collaborate with model developers and users to address model weaknesses. - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of model risk management best practices. - Contribute to the development of model risk management policies and procedures. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, finance). - 2-4 years of experience in model risk management or a related field. - Strong understanding of statistical modeling and validation techniques. - Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R). - Excellent analytical and communication skills.
