As a Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co., you will play a crucial role in creating innovative solutions that drive businesses and careers forward. Key Responsibilities: - Embrace an SRE/ DevOps mindset to ensure robust and reliable software solutions - Demonstrate proficiency in frequent incremental coding, testing, and deployment - Utilize SCM and CI/CD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Kubernetes, and AWS terraform effectively - Display a passion for automation and identify opportunities for automation to drive tangible ROI - Collaborate across teams to streamline processes and achieve desired outcomes - Possess advanced knowledge of system telemetry and utilize various industry tools and custom solutions to instrument systems - Exhibit expertise in one or more programming languages, with a focus on Java J2EE - Apply software skills including business analysis, development, maintenance, and software enhancement - Have a proven track record of supporting users on an enterprise platform, identifying issues, and resolving them efficiently - Conduct performance tests as part of the build process, with proficiency in tools like JMeter being an added advantage Qualifications Required: - SRE/ DevOps mindset - Experience in incremental coding, testing, and deployment - Proficiency in SCM and CI/CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS terraform) - Strong automation skills with the ability to identify automation opportunities - Cross-functional collaboration skills to re-engineer processes effectively - Advanced knowledge of system telemetry and industry tools - Proficiency in programming languages, especially Java J2EE - Understanding of software skills such as business analysis and development - Previous experience in supporting users on an enterprise platform - Performance testing experience, preferably with tools like JMeter Please note that JPMorgan Chase & Co. is a renowned financial institution with a rich history spanning over 200 years.
