As a Software Engineer I at JPMorgan Chase within the Model Risk Governance & Review (MRGR) team, you will be working on developing tools for MRGR Analytics to enhance efficiency and reduce duplication of effort. Key Responsibilities: - Develop tools to automate tasks in the model governance and review lifecycle. - Create dashboard reports to manage the workload of MRGR. - Translate business requirements in model risk management into business applications using Python. - Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) into systems to enhance automation and reporting. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify LLM integration opportunities. - Build intelligent solutions to support MRGR staff activities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline with significant exposure to computer programming. - Minimum 2 years of experience in full stack application development. - Proficiency in Python and knowledge of Tornado web framework/TypeScript/React. - Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented programming, and design patterns. - Experience with integrating machine learning models, including LLMs, into enterprise applications. - Excellent communication skills and ability to interface with different functional areas. - Risk and control mindset with the ability to think critically and design solutions to meet user needs. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working with large data sets. - Exposure to LLM integration and deployment in real-world applications. - Strong UI/UX designing skills. - Experience in model risk management or financial services space.
