Software Engineer III - Fullstack

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Wealth Management Tech in AWM Tech, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches. You will be accountable for creating secure and high-quality production code, maintaining algorithms, and producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Additionally, you will gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. Your proactive identification of hidden problems and patterns in data will drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. You are also expected to contribute to software engineering communities of practice, explore new technologies, and foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from diverse data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new technologies - Foster a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficiency in coding in Java, Spring Boot, ORM frameworks, and Microservices - Hands-on design experience in React, JavaScript, and RDBMS - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security In addition to the above qualifications, capabilities, and skills, familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
