Key Responsibilities: - Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine approaches - Develops secure high-quality production code, reviews, and debugs code written by others - Identifies opportunities to automate remediation of recurring issues to enhance the operational stability of software applications and systems - Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs - Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to promote the use of new technologies - Contributes to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience - Hands-on experience in Java, Spring, Microservices, NoSQL, JUnit, Cucumber, AWS - Proficiency in one or more programming languages, especially Java - Experience working with Databases, writing SQL queries, and messaging platforms - Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods - Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Demonstrated proficiency in software applications, technical processes, and cloud-native technologies - In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems The company prefers candidates with AWS Solutions Architect/Developer or advanced-level certification and proficiency in resolving code issues and Git for managing repositories and team collaboration.
