Technical Product Director - Application Platform, Chase Travel

Role Overview: You will be the Technical Product Director within the Application Platform team at Chase Travel. Your main responsibility will be to lead the strategy and execution of products that empower developers to build, deploy, and scale Travel applications easily. You will create developer tools, APIs, SDKs, and documentation to enhance developer experience and promote business growth through foundational technology. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the product vision and strategy for the entire Application Platform portfolio. - Partner with executives and peers within Chase Travel to align initiatives with overall business objectives. - Build and maintain relationships with key technology stakeholders. - Coach and mentor the product team on best practices such as solution generation, market research, and prototyping methods. - Establish metrics and KPIs to measure developer satisfaction, adoption, and business impact. - Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch. Qualification Required: - 10+ years of experience in a senior software contributor, technical product owner, or software architect role. - Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics. - Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities. - Advanced experience with APIs, SDKs, CLIs, and developer ecosystems. - Experience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders. - Expertise in executive stakeholder management. - Background in software engineering or technical architecture. - Active participation or familiarity with modern developer environments. - Architectural knowledge of complex distributed systems. - Knowledge or experience of secure PCI environments and UI component libraries. - Expansive knowledge of data patterns, stores, queues, and streaming systems. - Experience in any of the following languages & frameworks: .NET, Java, Spring, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, React.
